M.D. Green

Practices family medicine at this clinic located in California.

In 2016 California legalized physician assisted suicide.

When he first heard the news of the legislation he was upset since he felt that physician assisted suicide goes against the idea that doctors should be working to heal and ease patients, not kill them.

He held onto this view till one of his patients told them that their sister had undergone the procedure.

The patient's sister was suffering greatly and was getting no relief from traditional end of life treatments like hospice or palliative care.

With physician assisted suicide she was finally able to find peace.

While Dr. Green still thinks physician assisted suicide is a bad thing, he admits that it is something that can benefit the terminally ill patient and their family members.
